PASTEUR Sensor enabled RFID (concluded)
From July 2009 until September 2012 a consortium of companies and universities from the Netherlands, Belgium, Austria and Spain developed a “sensor enabled RFID tag”. This technology provides you with a quick, cheap and efficient way to monitor the environmental conditions in the supply chain. At the end of the project the NVC published the NVC World Review on Supply Chain Applications of RFID and Sensors in Packaging. In this report the results of the project are compared to the state-of-the-art sensor enabled RFID solutions. KU Leuven MeBioS, one of the other project partners, made a video about the results of the project.
