A global shortage in qualified packaging staff may be building up, as the amount of LinkedIn generic packaging job vacancies worldwide reaches 24,154. The site gives 8,961 results for packaging manager and 3,744 results for packaging engineer (October 28th, 2014).
Professionals with the international NVC Diploma are added to the NVC Register of Packaging Professionals. They have successfully completed their international Exams for NVC Packaging Professional I and/or NVC Packaging Professional II. The corresponding harmonised Competence Profiles (job descriptions) are Packaging Technologist and Packaging Manager, with levels EQF5 and EQF6 in the European Qualifications Framework system EQF.
