Global bottled water market 2015-2019

In a new report Technavio's analysts forecast the global bottled water market to grow at a CAGR of more than 7% between 2015 and 2019. Owing to its ‘healthy alternative’ tag and its refreshing and hydrating characteristics, the demand for bottled water will hike in the coming years.
The major contributors of this market are China, US, Mexico, Brazil, and Indonesia, indicative of the fact that the demand for bottled water is not restricted to developed countries. A large number of consumers in these countries consider bottled water safer, which is expected to increase the per capita consumption of bottled water in the forecast period (Press Release Technavio, 3 September 2015).
