Wageningen UR presents Biobased Packaging catalogue

On September 30th the first edition of the new Biobased Packaging catalogue, compiled by Wageningen UR Food & Biobased Research was presented to the NVC by the Dutch Ministry of Economic Affairs.
The catalogue offers a comprehensive overview of the various types of biobased packaging that are currently available and their applications. The idea behind the catalogue was to present a clear review of the options and possibilities for utilizing biobased packaging on a commercial basis. The new catalogue demonstrates the extent in which biobased materials are already being successfully applied, for example in packaging for a wide range of products (News Article Wageningen UR, 2 October).
