Proposed changes to the German Pharmacopoeia

It is proposed to amend the current version of the German Pharmacopoeia 2016, and to implement the revised version as the German Pharmacopoeia 2017. The notified amendment contains the new monograph about cannabis flowers to be included in the German Pharmacopoeia 2017.
The Pharmacopoeia will be published in the Federal Gazette by the Federal Institute for Drugs and Medical Devices, mentioning the source of the relevant version of the Pharmacopoeia and the date the revised version enters into force. The draft is not expected to have a significant impact on international trade. The standstill period ends on 2 May 2017 (European Commission Notification, 30 January 2017).
