Report NVC/EC workshop on circular economy and packaging

On 22 June 2016 a unique workshop took place at the TNG European Packaging Network event in Reading, UK that probed into the application of the Circular Economy insights in the field of packaging. NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre, the UK Institute of Packaging Professionals and DG Environment of the European Commission joined forces to find the best way of applying the insights on the Circular Economy to the world of packaging. Starting point was the input that NVC provided to the Public Consultation by the European Commission for their EU Circular Economy Strategy. More than 50 senior directors involved in packaging and its various disciplines attended the 21-22 June conference.
