Packaging: "Buy me, Buy me!"

Buy me, Buy me!" is what the packaging is calling to the consumer, and in an expressive way Professor Roland ten Klooster explains how this can be done in the magazine of the University of Twente.
The article shows why designing effective packaging is difficult; it has to comply with a range of requirements that often conflict with each other. For example, the ageing consumer needs packaging that is easy to handle and manipulate, but at the same time economic considerations (material costs) and environmental requirements push for a decrease in material use. In the entire process it is essential not to lose the connection with the perception of the consumer.
