Top 10 of most made mistakes with pallets

Training company Blom (Blom Opleidingen) has published an infographic with the top 10 of the most frequent causes of damage to pallets. Pallet damage has a negative impact on the production process, internal transport and storage. It can never be entirely avoided, but handling pallets in a more conscious way can save a company a lot of money on a yearly basis.
According to Blom Opleidingen, damaged pallets hamper the flow of the goods, lead to high costs for reparation or substitution, lead to extra costs because of the time loss and lead to unsafe situations. In addition, it is not possible to guarantee the quality of the product during transport (News Item logistiek.nl, 30 July 2015).
