NVC trains 45 inspectors in packaging according to ADR
On Monday 30 March 2015 the NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre trained 45 inspectors of the inspectorate of the North Sea Canal area (Omgevingsdienst Noordzeekanaal) in the field of packaging according to the ADR. These inspectors are now even better equipped to determine whether dangerous goods are properly packed.
The Dutch legislation for storage of dangerous goods, the PGS15, is for a large part based on the European Agreement concerning the International Carriage of Dangerous Goods by Road, ADR. With the packaging, the ADR and the safety data sheet at hand these inspectors can now determine whether a packed dangerous good actually complies with the requirements stated in the ADR.
