NL: More on discussion deposit research Wageningen UR

01 April 2016

On 27 January 2016, an article was published in the Dutch newspaper Trouw stating that Wageningen University was inaccurate in its report about the costs of the deposit scheme in the Netherlands. In a reaction, Wageningen University stated that its Committee for Academic Integrity (CWI) received fourteen complaints. All except one of these complaints were rejected because no ‘breach of scientific integrity’ was found. But the commission did find that the researchers took inadequate care in parts of their work.
On 28 January Members of Parliament sent questions to the state secretary about the matter. On 22 March the state secretary sent her answers to the Dutch House.
