NL: Government stimulates growth Smart Industry Fieldlabs

The Government of the Netherlands has published the regulation Smart Industry Fieldlabs, which makes almost € 15 million of subsidy available for starting new experimental projects. Fieldlabs are practical environments in which businesses and knowledge institutes can develop, test, and implement Smart Industry solutions and that strengthen the connection with research, education, and policy.
The financial support comes in the form of subsidy. Applications for the new subsidy module can be submitted to the Netherlands Enterprise Agency (RVO) from 1 February 2017 to 31 March 2017 (News Item smartindustry.nl, 9 December 2016).
