NL: Conflict balancing share plastic waste from non-packaging

There is a discussion about the balancing of the costs because of the amount of plastic waste not coming from packaging in the recycled plastic stream. Nedvang has notified the municipalities in a letter that they plan to make an adjustment of 7% on the plastic stream that qualifies for compensation.
In reaction to this, VNG, as party in the Framework Agreement for the packaging industry (ROV) 2013-2022, has expressed their position to the Mayors and Aldermen. The issue can be included in the approaching evaluation of the ROV. However, possible new agreements can only be directed at the future, for which the subject has to be assessed in its entirety (News Item VNG, 11 November 2016).
