FEICA Seminar on ‘Safe Adhesives for Safe Food’ in Brussels
FEICA organised a Food Contact Seminar in Brussels on 28 September 2017 titled ‘Safe Adhesives for Safe Food’. The seminar concentrated on migration testing of adhesives and especially the testing of the migration of mineral oil hydrocarbons. It was intended for persons that have to carry out migration testing or assess the results of such tests.
With an impressive line-up of experts from H.B. Fuller, Henkel, Nynas and Laboratory Lommatzsch, the seminar provided insights into sample preparation, testing and interpretation of the results, common errors and pitfalls regarding migration testing, and the possible limits of analytical methods (FEICA Press Release, 4 October 2017).
