Impact assessment on transparency measures for nanomaterials on the market

The Commission has launched a public consultation on transparency measures for nanomaterials on the market. This consultation is conducted in support of an impact assessment to identify and develop the most adequate means to increase transparency of nanomaterials on the market.
The objective of the public consultation is to obtain stakeholder views on the currently available information on nanomaterials on the market, the problem definition that forms the basis of the impact assessment, as well as the potential positive and/or negative impacts of different policy options. The consultation will close on 5 August 2014 (Website European Commission, May 2014).
