E-commerce and logistics at Trans-Log-Intermodal Kalkar

Online retail in Germany is growing fast, with the Top-3 of online retailers (Amazon, Otto and Zalando) now having sales of €12 billion per year. This sales volume alone requires 300 million parcels to be delivered annually, which is 1 million parcels each day. How will e-commerce further develop and how can packaging and logistics contribute to the sustained future of e-commerce in Germany and its surrounding countries?
These questions were addressed by NVC at the Trans-Log-Intermodal exhibition in Kalkar (Germany) on 20-21 February 2018. At the stand, the NVC team answered all questions and visitors could also experience the NVC Live Online Classroom there in Virtual Reality.
