3rd Global Access to Nutrition Index (ATNI) published
The Access to Nutrition Foundation (ATNF) has published the 3rd Global Access to Nutrition Index (ATNI). The ATNI ranks the world’s 22 largest food and beverage companies on their contributions to addressing the twin global nutrition challenges of overweight and diet related diseases and undernutrition. The Index measures contributions to good nutrition against international norms and standards.
The ATNI methodology comprises 3 components: Corporate Profile (in particular nutrition- and undernutrition-related commitments and policies, practices and disclosures) , Product Profile (in particular nutritional quality) and a sub-ranking on breast-milk substitutes (Press Release ATNF, 23 May 2018).
