Inspiration meeting crowdfunding for packaging innovation

Also in 2016 NVC Netherlands Packaging Centre organises a range of inspiration meetings about packaging. Innovations, hot topics and trends are discussed in these meetings, directed by an independent trade journalist and moderator. The inspiration meetings start at 11 AM and end at 1.30 PM. Lunch is included.

The meeting on 15 March 2016 will focus on the opportunities and threats of alternative financing methods for innovations in packaging. Alternative financing includes i.a. peer-to-peer lending, equity crowdfunding, credit unions and hybrid financing; together know as Financial Technology (fintech).

Fintech has accelerated the process of providing and receiving risk capital, making it more effective and transparent. Furthermore, the internet has strongly contributed to the ‘democratisation’ of finance. What are the developments, are we on the right track, and what has to be done to stimulate future fruitful packaging innovations?

Reports of the meeting will be published in a range of (print and online) media; therefore also professional photos will be made during the session. A limited number of seats is available for the audience, who will not be part of the recorded discussion.

Previous to publication the participants always are informed about the text  which is intended for publication, including the right to provide their comments. The end responsibility however rests with the trade journalist c.q. moderator.
