World market for glass packaging 2015-2025

In the new report, Glass Packaging Market Forecast 2015-2025: Future Prospects for Leading Companies, visiongain predicts that the world market for glass packaging will reach $40.86 billion in 2015. While the emerging countries are growing, the western markets are mildly moving forward with few signs of growth above the level of inflation and most European glass packaging industries will in fact be shrinking.
The contracting in size of the European and Northern American markets is partly due to plastic packaging taking a greater market share of the wider packaging space and western consumers restricting their luxury spending a little (Press Release visiongain, 13 May 2015).
