In a new report Technavio's analysts forecast the global packaging robots market 2015-2019 to grow at a CAGR of 8.60% during the forecast period of 2014-2019.
Advancements in sensors and the use of cameras and software have made robots more accurate at identifying locations and objects in the industries for packaging. Robots that were visually impaired and needed continuous assistance in pick and place applications in plants have become self-dependent in locating and placing objects.
