Global packaging machinery market 2018-2022

According to a new report by Technavio, the global packaging machinery market is expected to grow at a CAGR of more than 5% during the period 2018-2022. One of the main trends in the market is the continuous development of new products. Several key vendors are investing heavily in R&D to introduce such product upgrades, which will lead to an increase in the demand for packaging machinery.
APAC was the largest regional segment in 2017, accounting for a market share of more than 36%. During the forecast period, APAC is expected to register the highest CAGR. This growth is mainly attributed to the rise in investments in the packaging industry in the region (Press Release Technavio, 1 June 2018).
