According to a new report by MarketsandMarkets (M&M), the global paper and paperboard packaging market is projected to reach $213.4 Billion by 2020, at a CAGR of 3.5% from 2015 to 2020. The European region accounted for around 33% of the total market share value, followed by the North American and Asia-Pacific regions. However, the market in developing countries such as China and India is estimated to grow at a higher rate from 2015 to 2020. The market has been growing in accordance with the packaging industry. With increasing concerns about the environment, people are opting for eco-friendly packaging solutions, which have an impact on the market for paper & paperboard products.
