Report on Beverage Packaging Congress 2017

On 24 and 25 October 2017 the sixth annual Beverage Packaging Conference took place in Brussels. The conference offers a great overview of packaging (filling) developments in the juices and beverages industry worldwide. Topics included market developments, novel bottle designs, the relation between the packaging and the brand identity, the way towards a more sustainable beverage industry in terms of packaging resources used and new distribution channels. Also the impact of cultural differences on packaging innovation was highlighted.
NVC is a partner of the conference, especially in the field of training and innovation. NVC director Michael Nieuwesteeg was conference chairman.
