Packaging and Converting Executive Forum 2017 – report
The Packaging and Converting Executive Forum (PACE) celebrated its 11th anniversary on 28 February to 2 March 2017 in Amsterdam. As always, the event brought together senior decision makers from the world’s leading FMCG manufacturers. The 2017 edition addressed cooperation and knowledge exchange in the fragmented packaging business to accelerate innovation in packaged products (both food and non-food), provided solutions to current needs and facilitated great discussions on how to design, buy, manufacture, convert and print packages and packaging materials. Increasing efficiency in production and the advent of novel ‘intelligent’ and/or bio-based packaging materials were discussed as well.
