Packaging innovation in the Middle East Region

The Middle East comprises a region with 17 countries, 60 languages and around 400 million inhabitants. Packaging innovation is gaining importance in the region as polymer materials derived from petroleum are scrutinized and as the consumption of packaged products is increasing. Insights on the future of packaging innovation in the region are given in an interview with NVC director Michael Nieuwesteeg, published by conference organiser Fleming.
The interview also forms the basis for the invited lecture on material development and sustainable innovation by NVC at the 2-day Middle East Packaging Summit that will take place in Dubai (United Arab Emirates) on 18 and 19 September 2017.
