Comprehensive study of alternative financing
The Cambridge Centre for Alternative Finance at Cambridge Judge Business School, The Tsinghua University Graduate School of Shenzhen and the University of Sydney Business School will launch a joint survey. This survey, called the Asia-Pacific Alternative Finance Benchmarking Survey will aim to map alternative finance in the Asia-Pacific Region. The Asia-pacific region is ideal for such a study, as rapid uptake of mobile technology and the permeation of social media enables these countries to leapfrog traditional banking. The research was launched on November 12th and closes on the 16th of December. The study is crucial to increasing the understanding of alternative financing markets.
