A study (343 kB) by Gebze Technical University entitled ‘Machine learning applications in packaging industry optimization: a systematic literature review and future research Directions’ has been published in the congress proceedings of the 12th International New York Academic Research Congress on Social, Humanities, Administrative, and Educational Sciences.
A study (6.13 MB) by the M S Ramaiah Institute of Technology entitled ‘Real-time data-driven estimation of production for point bottom sealing and cutting machines using machine learning’ has been published in Systems and Soft Computing.
Trends in robotics

Sustainable packaging operations
DHL conducted a survey (1.30 MB) with SMEs across the world, exploring their approaches to sustainability; how much of a priority it is within their business strategy, their willingness to invest in low-emissions logistics, the biggest challenges they face in doing so, and the evolving expectations of their own customers.
A study (403 kB) led by Tennessee State University has been published in the International Journal of Social Science Exceptional Research. The title is ‘Sustainable packaging operations: Balancing cost, functionality, and environmental concerns’.
Tackling global supply chain challenges
A study (1.77 MB) by Descartes Systems Group reveals what companies are doing to tackle escalating global supply chain challenges. The study shows that 74% of the surveyed supply chain and logistics leaders view technology as fundamental or highly important to their organisation’s growth strategy in the face of rising global trade challenges, such as tariffs and trade barriers, supply chain disruptions and geopolitical instability.
