Turnover 3D printing in Netherlands to 120 million in 2017
The international market for 3D printing is still growing fast. More and more final products are being printed and particularly metal printers are producing at an industrial scale.
Wohlers Associates has estimated the worldwide turnover in the 3D printing market to be 4.9 billion euro in 2015: an increase of 25.9% compared to 2014. The turnover in the Netherlands is also growing faster than expected, say ABN AMRO and Berenschot in a joint report. In 2016, the Dutch 3D printing market accounted for about 100 million euros: double of what it was in 2015. The turnover is expected to continue to grow to 120 million euro in 2017 (News Item ABN AMRO, 8 March 2017).
