NL: KIDV publishes four new packaging sustainability plans

22 February 2017

The Netherlands Institute Sustainable Packaging (KIDV) published 4 new packaging sustainability plans. These are the plans of the business association for the technological industry (FME), the association for retail chains in the Do-It-Yourself branch (VWDHZ) and the association of furniture manufacturers (Royal CBM). The fourth plan was drawn up by 3 organisations that represent the electronics sector: Vlehan, Nederland ICT and FIAR-CE.
Drawing up sustainability plans is included in the Framework Agreement for the packaging industry 2013-2022. The plans include highest obtainable objectives to make product-packaging combinations more sustainable (News Item KIDV, 24 January 2017).
