NL: KIDV publishes two new packaging sustainability plans
The Netherlands Institute for Sustainable Packaging (KIDV) has published two new packaging sustainability plans. These are the plans of the Netherlands garden association (Tuinbranche Nederland) and Spirits NL, the association for producers and importers of distilled beverages. So far thirteen sector organisations have drawn up sustainability plans, covering 88% of the packaging weight placed on the Dutch market.
Drawing up sustainability plans is included in the Framework Agreement for the packaging industry 2013-2022. KIDV has now established highest attainable objectives for sectors that have not submitted plans themselves (News Item KIDV, 25 April 2017).
