NL: Approval Dutch Healthy Choice logo extended by one year
The Dutch Healthy Choice logo ‘Het Vinkje’ can be used for another year. Minister Schippers of Health, Welfare and Sports has extended the approval of the healthy choice logo by one year. The approval was set to expire on 1 May 2016. The Dutch Government Gazette reports it has now been extended to 1 May 2017.
The product criteria for the use of the logo should be aligned with the new Dutch dietary guidelines that have been determined on 4 November 2015. Therefore the existing approval has been extended by one year. As soon as the product criteria have been adapted, a procedure will be started for a new decision of approval of the healthy choice logo (EVMI, 25 March 2016).
