New platforms will help global crowdfunding market to grow

In a new report Technavio's analysts estimate the global crowdfunding market, to generate revenues of $109 billion between 2016 and 2020. Now-a-days, there is wide availability of new crowdfunding websites, where investors have the choice of how they want to be associated with a venture. The Americas is the largest market, where the growing popularity of equity crowdfunding is gaining wide acceptance.
They predict the entrepreneurship segment to be the largest market segment during the forecast period. This segment currently accounts for more than 45% of the total market share and is envisaged to retain its dominating hold over the market by the end of 2020 (Press Release Technavio, 28 January 2016).
