Life Long Learning in Europe draws more attention

The European Commission has launched a public consultation to update the 2006 Recommendation on Key Competences for Lifelong Learning. The consultation will run until 19 May 2017 and aims to determine which competences (knowledge, skills and attitudes) people need to succeed in life. The aim is to develop a shared understanding of key competences needed and to foster opportunities for learner development in education and training. The revision will also explore how skill assessment and teacher professional development can be supported. NVC will gather all insights regarding Life Long Learning in packaging from its members and third parties throughout Europe to share in the Consultation.
