Opportunities in plastic closures in food and drink

A recent presentation by Silvia De Almedia from Euromonitor, provides an overview of the performance and opportunities in global plastic closures for food and drink. The lecture took place at the Plastics Caps and Closures Conference in Barcelona on 10 November 2016. Topics addressed included the market size trends and structure, the relative position of plastic in the overall closure market, plastic screw solutions, plastic dispensing, sports caps, zip/press closures. Also key regional performances were outlined.
The next Plastics Caps and Closures Conference will take place 7-8 November in Amsterdam, preceded on 6 November by an international NVC meeting on accessible packaging design.
