Harmonised standards (packaging) machines published

The European Commission communicates the titles and reference numbers of harmonised standards as part of the harmonisation legislation of the EU and the implementation of Directive 2006/42/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council on machinery, and amending Directive 95/16/EC. The Commission communication was published in the Official Journal of the EU of 13 May 2016.
The published titles include C-type standards. C-type standards provide specifications for a given category of machinery. Especially relevant is the EN 415 series covering the safety of different kinds of packaging machines like form, fill and seal machines (part 3) and group and secondary packaging machines (part 7).
