Pharma & medical devices: Trends in packaging operations

A report by PMMI, the association for Packaging and Processing Technologies, published on 3 November 2016, examines trends and opportunities in pharmaceutical and medical devices packaging operations.
In this report, sixty industry professionals from pharmaceutical, medical devices and contract service companies share their experiences in complying with tracking regulations, operational challenges and what their equipment needs are in the future. As a result of the rise in global demand for medicines and devices, and as generic drugs gain more share, two of three companies participating in this report predict spending more on capital equipment in the next few years.
