EU public consultation: Interface chemical, product and waste

On 23 July 2018 the European Commission opened a public consultation addressing the interface between chemical, product and waste legislation. The consultation builds upon its analysis of the interface in the Communication published on 16 January 2018. The Communication explores the four most critical issues identified in the way the legislation on chemicals, products and waste work together and how these are hampering a circular economy development.
Any interested party, including private citizens, companies, organisations and public authorities, are welcome to contribute. The questionnaire is available in 23 EU languages. The consultation closes on 29 October 2018.
