Criteria for selecting green suppliers of food packaging

One of the most significant business decisions faced by purchasing managers in a supply chain is the selection of appropriate suppliers while trying to satisfy multiple criteria based on price, quality, customer service, and delivery.
Researchers at the University of Tehran in Iran aimed to introduce an operational model including a combination of general and environmental criteria for green supplier selection criteria in raw material and packaging for the food industry. The researchers also propose different methods that account for single and multiple sourcing of supplier selection.
