Green manufacturing applications

Researchers at the Kirodimal Institute of Technology in India studied green manufacturing, focusing on the design of components without harming nature. The main objective was to bringing green manufacturing to the attention of manufacturers that mass produce.
It has been observed that lot of waste is being produced during manufacturing which can be minimized by implementing the green manufacturing techniques. The results of this study indicate that the green manufacturing applications have a significant positive impact on environmental performance and social performance. An article about the research is published in the International Journal of Mechanical Engineering and Robotics Research.
