Master Thesis: Achieving packaging manufacturing flexibility

On 31 March 2015 Alexandra van der Meer held a speech as part of her master assignment entitled: Achieving packaging manufacturing flexibility through the interplay of design and production process characteristics. She did her graduation project at Heineken Netherlands Supply.
In this assignment a general framework for increasing manufacturing flexibility is created, based on literature. This framework brings a new way to structure how to think about packaging manufacturing flexibility. As a result recommendations are given for investing in a new, flexible packaging line and guidelines are given for new packaging design (Website University of Twente, March 2015).
