Life Long Learning in Packaging

The retirement age is rising, we have to work longer, employees are becoming scarce and existing packaging knowledge is rapidly getting out of date. An essential factor for the competitiveness of companies is the continuous knowledge development of their employees. Conversely, employees can only remain employable and thus retain their jobs if they keep their knowledge up to date.

The NVC International Working Group Life Long Learning in Packaging makes an inventory of the critical success factors, offers a unique platform for exchanging insights and presents the latest developments in the field of HRM, corporate training and education, as well as sustainable employment in business. Specific attention is paid to the development of the knowledge and skills required by the entire packaging business community.

Once a year, the working group organises the NVC mini-conference on the future of work and education in packaging.
