NVC at the forefront of education, innovation and environment at EmpackNL 2024
9-11 April 2024
NVC will help you as a participant at EmpackNL 2024 (visitor as well as exhibitor) with all your questions about education, innovation and environment when it comes to packaging. You will find NVC at stand number D204. You can visit the exhibition with a free entrance ticket. Click here to register.
Daily from 3-4 PM CET Happy Career Hour
Every day from 3-4 PM CET we will hold a Happy Career Hour at the NVC stand. This is the ideal opportunity to informally catch up on opportunities and threats on the road to a sustainable job in packaging. The Happy Career Hour is open to both those who are already working and students with an interest in packaging.
BUSINESS EDUCATION
Insufficient basic packaging knowledge in your organisation? Then the NVC Introduction Course in Packaging (ICP) offers the ideal first step. For 'heavyweights', there is the NVC Course Programme in Packaging (CPP). The CPP prepares you for the exam internationally EQF5-referenced Exam and (when successfull) Diploma NVC Packaging Professional. Oscar Faber (o.faber@nvc.nl) and Irma Walstra (via education@nvc.nl ) help you make the right choice: ICP, CPP or one of the specialised NVC courses and workshops.
INNOVATION
The 32nd edition of packaging innovation contest De Gouden Noot is up and running! Check out the Gold winner of the last edition and discuss your possible participation in the 32nd edition with Corné Huijben (c.huijben@nvc.nl ). Who knows, it will be you who takes home the iconic winner's trophy with the solid gold walnut inside. Deadline for participation is 1 May 2024, you can also register directly here.
ENVIRONMENT
The internationally acclaimed NVC Report The Future of Packaging Recycling in the Netherlands is available for perusal on the stand, as is its 'sister report' on the potential of bio-based plastics for packaging. Naturally, you will also find the PUMA MANIFESTO. This is how we work together to end packaging as an environmental problem in the Netherlands, Europe and worldwide. Helen Crowe (h.crowe@nvc.nl ) will explain all and is also there to inform you about global legislative developments with our NVC Members-only Regulations Guide MERGE.
