What employees want does not correspond with what they get
In an attempt to better understand why employees decide to stay in their current job or to accept a new position, the ADP Research Institute® has done research among employees and employers in thirteen countries. Less than half of the employees give the company they work for a high score for the various aspects of talent management, while employers in general consider their efforts in this area to be good. Employers expect of employees that they make larger efforts for their developments than the employees realise.
Only 40% of the European employees think that their company has a clear path for career development, while 68% of employers think they do have this.
