Chemical logistics writes Best practice BBS Warehousing

VNCW is going to write a Best practice Behavior Based Safety Warehousing. The goal is to increase the safety in the storage and warehousing of dangerous goods even further by creating a guidance document.
According to Luciën Govaert, chairman of the VNCW, there is a lot to improve in the warehouses by observing and coaching employees. Preventing incidents in the warehouse creates savings in the areas of driving damage, cleaning costs, standstill, product and reputation damage. Next to writing the Best practice there will also be a test phase in which the theory will be put into practics. The entire project will last almost 2 years (News item VNCW, 18 April 2017).
