Pre-programme Annual meeting NVC international working group Web Retail Packaging

The NVC international working group’s annual meeting on Web Retail Packaging takes place on the 22nd and 23rd of September in Rotterdam. The working group, which is part of the NVC innovation Web Retail Packaging, addresses current problems and possible solutions encountered by e-commerce stakeholders of all sizes. This group consists of major international e-tailers, manufacturers and packaging (services) suppliers, who wish to contribute to a sustainable future of e-commerce through better packaging. Participation to the group is invitation-only. The gathered insights are part of -and greatly benefit- the online NVC course Packaging for E-commerce.

In the afternoon of 22 September preceding the working group meeting, a pre-programme is organised which is accessible to everyone. This year we will visit RoboValley in Delft, where more than 160 researchers from a wide range of disciplines address robotics. One of the hottest applications is the composition of customer orders for e-commerce; Delft Robotics won the Amazon Picking Challenge 2016 this summer.
