2nd Annual European Conference on the Future of Business Education in Packaging
The conference
Every second, at least 100,000 products are packaged and distributed globally by industry and retail – and unpacked by the end-user. Tens of thousands of professionals contribute daily to the continuous improvement of the activity of packaging for the benefit of mankind. The annual European Conference on the Future of Business Education in Packaging (FBEP) addresses the packaging skills, knowledge and know-how required for tomorrow’s workforce in retail, logistics, fulfilment, the packaged goods industry, design agencies and in suppliers of packaging materials, machinery and related services.
How do we ensure that the necessary skills, knowledge and know-how are available within the workforce and will remain so as well? How do we define the appropriate job qualifications related to packaging? How does industry nurture the talents within the organisation? How do we implement the life-long education and training of the ageing knowledge workers after completion of their primary education in their 20s up to their retirement in their 60s?
For whom?
FBEP2016 addresses the needs of those responsible for (or involved in) the development of skills, know-how and knowledge of the workforce in the field of packaging. These include managers HRM, R&D and Operations as well as members of staff with responsibility for external and internal training programmes within their company. Qualified professionals in packaging will find the conference of interest in view of their potential future career perspectives.
Undergraduate students in Europe and NVC Packaging Professionals enjoy an attractive special conference fee. The conference has proven to be an attractive platform as well for organisations offering business education, training and coaching in packaging. Please contact Irma Walstra for the sponsored promotional opportunities.
Programme
In one concise day, FBEP connects industry to education and training institutes and provides a concise view on how to maintain an agile, capable workforce (from 20 to 60+ years of age) in the field of packaging.
