NVC hosts interactive workshop The implications of Web Retail Packaging at Pira Packaging Summit 2014

On November 11^th Ger Standhardt, NVC’s Manager Knowledge Development & Projects, will host an interactive workshop at the Pira Packaging Summit 2014.

The workshop addresses the challenges of Web Retail Packaging. Key issues are the impact of mobile ordering in driving the supply chain of packaged products, where the consumer defines the location of delivery. Areas addressed are the prevention of product waste, the optimisation of return logistics by better packaging, communication with the consumer via the package at the doorstep and how to ensure sustainability.
