NVC project Innovation in Retail Packaging

Retail Packaging is the packaging of products that are purchased through any retail channel, in store or ordered online and delivered, directly at the consumer's home or via a collection point. With the traditional and online supply chains merging into an omnichannel, packaging must evolve to facilitate the new supply chain. What does the future of retail packaging look like and which packaging aspects constitute risks or opportunities? These questions are central in this NVC innovation project.

The basis for the project is the international NVC Working Group Innovation in Retail Packaging, in which retailers, manufacturers and suppliers of packaging and related services work together for the sustainable growth of retail. The Working Group normally meets plenary 'live hybrid' once a year. Other (sub) meetings take place per web-co. Participation is exclusively for NVC member companies and by invitation.
