This packaging provides the opportunity for the brand owner to interact directly with the consumer during the use of the product. Special codes are hidden in the artwork on the packaging. By scanning these codes with an app on a smartphone a connection is made to digital content. For Fred & Ed this is: a new joke every day! The code is applied in the packaging design right before the moment of printing. The code should not degrade the printing quality or slow down the printing process. The Vignet'D process solution makes it possible to apply this on a large scale.
